Beaverton Slot Car Club LMP Class Rules and Scoring Rules (at the bottom)

The Basic Rule:

Any modification not specifically detailed below is not allowed.

Body/Chassis

1.1: Any Injection molded RTR that was marketed as a 1/32 scale slot car from the LMP classification.

NSR

1.0 Chassis and Bodies Modifications

1.2: Chassis must be an inline RTR chassis from the same manufacturer as the body. Chassis may be braced, reinforced or strengthened. Minor trimming is allowed for body float. Chassis cutting, chopping, sawing or drilling is not allowed.

1.3: Guide may not project beyond the body when aligned for straight, as viewed from directly above.

1.4: Cars must have sufficient ground clearance to permit free running without contacting track

1.5: Bodies may be painted in fantasy or realistic liveries. Non-decorated cars (for example plain white kits) are not allowed unless liveried.
1.6: Headlights and tail lights are required, but are not required to actually illuminate. Wings are required at the start of each event.

2.0 Wheels and Tires

2.1: Tires may not project beyond the body more than 1mm when the car is at rest on a level track, as viewed from directly above.
2.2: Any wheel is allowed as long as the rear wheels fit a 20x10 tire.

2.3: :  Rear tires will be NSR SuperGrip for GT cars.  No F-1 style tires or rims

3.0 Motors

3.1: Any motor that produces less than 22K rpm at 12 Volts is allowed. Motors must be readily identifiable by label, end-bell, sight or other means. Any motor exhibiting excessive performance will be subject to review.

4.0 Modifications:

4.1:Wheels, tires, gears, axles, guides, braids, wires, and bearings may be modified or replaced by any manufacturer’s parts.

4.2: Weight/ballast can be added to the car but must be contained on the inside of the body.

4.3: Spring and magnetic suspension packages are allowed as long as no cutting of the chassis is required.

4.4 Motor pods can be replaced or changed as long as no cutting of the chassis is required.

 

Scoring Rules:

Here is how the season will be scored. The first night of racing is the only night where we will combined the 2 racers for a total results. For all other races, the placement results will be the best of either race. So if you did better in the first race over the 2nd race, your first race totals will determine your position for the night's standings.

Then the all the racers will be compared for the night and the bottom half will be scored in the B Mains and the top half will be in the A Mains. These results will be put on the "standings" tally sheet for the season totals. If you want to read the results of each race, you will need to go to the "results" page. If you want to see how you are doing for the season's point standings you will need to go to the "standings" page.

There will be 11 races throughout the season but only the best 8 will be counted. At the end of the season, racer's totals will be finalized and placement for which main will be determined for final results for the trophy and final finishing results.

1st place finishers will receive 10 points, 2nd place 8 points, 3rd place 7 points, 4th place 6 points, 5th place 5 points, 6th place 4 points, 7th place 3 points, 8th place 2 points, 9th place 1 point per race night.
